Jack started the Law Office of James Partin in 1979 - the firm would become Partin, Patton & Brown in 2009.  Jack's firm, like many solo law firms, initially represented clients in all kinds of cases.  However, in 1980 Jack started representing Social Security Disability clients and has solely represented disabled persons in their fight for Social Security benefits since 1999. Jack was one of the first members of NOSSCR - the national association for attorney's representing Social Security clients and has been a frequent speaker on Social Security Disability issues.  Jack was also part of the first group of North Carolina Board Certified Social Security Disability Specialists in 2007.. Jack was born and raised in Elkin, North Carolina and attended North Carolina State University and Campbell University School of Law.  Jack has been married to his lovely wife Susan for 37 years and has two children and one grandchild.  In his spare time, Jack likes working on his family farm, racing cars, and dabbling in real estate and antiques (especially cars and boats).
