MSBA Certified Civil Trial Specialist Steve joined Pemberton Law in 1974 and works in the Fergus Falls office.  Steve’s practice includes general civil litigation, personal injury, auto and farm accidents, business litigation, real estate, construction, township law, and aviation.  Foremost in Steve's practice of law is his concern for his clients.  Every client and every case is important.  He has achieved settlements for clients in excess of one million dollars on several occasions. Josh Heggem works as a partner at Pemberton Law’s Fergus Falls location and maintains a general practice, focusing on employment and labor, municipal, public school law, and litigation.  He works with public entities, particularly schools, cities, and counties in all areas of public sector law. Josh has a wide variety of experience handling employment related matters, especially workplace investigations, for both public and private employers.  He also has experience litigating many different kinds of legal disputes. He is a member of the firm's Civil Litigation and Employment & Labor Law practice groups.  He is licensed to practice in both Minnesota and North Dakota, and has experience representing clients in federal and tribal court. Josh grew up in Aitkin, Minnesota and graduated magna cum laude from Gustavus Adolphus College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Financial Economics and a minor in Political Science.  He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Minnesota Law School graduating cum laude.
