Kent is a partner at Pemberton Law’s Fergus Falls office.  Since 1993, Kent has built his practice in health care law, business/corporate and cooperative law, and banking and finance law.  Kent enjoys practicing law in the rural setting of Fergus Falls within a law firm that has a quality regional and state reputation.. Kent is a native of Roseau, Minnesota, and graduated from Fergus Falls High School before receiving his Bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota-Duluth, with honors. He received his law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1993 with honors. Kent is admitted to practice law in all Minnesota state and the federal courts and the Eight Circuit Court.. Kent represents healthcare organizations in legal matters including hospitals, physician group practices, and physicians.   In his business and corporate law practice, Kent represents many local and regional clients, including banks, corporations, partnerships, individuals, entrepreneurs, and professionals in all aspects of business development and business law, including formation, operation, and succession planning, as well as purchase and sale of businesses. In his banking and finance law practice, Kent is involved with all aspects of lending law, including commercial loan documentation and work-out matters, as well as foreclosure and creditor remedies. Kent also represents a variety of clients, including national corporations, state government entities such as counties and cities, employers, banks, businesses, individuals, and insurance companies in all types of disputes in court..
