I have been married for over 34 years and have 2 children. My undergraduate degree is in education and some of my best times have been teaching our young student leaders of tomorrow. I graduated from Ursuline Academy high school in Blue Ash, OH in 2002, Northern Kentucky University in 2006, and Northern Kentucky University, Chase Law School in 2010. I have been practicing law in OH since 2010 and KY since 2011. I'm a member of the Northern Kentucky Bar Association, Cincinnati Bar Association, and Kentucky Bar Association.. My background includes extensive experience in the insurance industry, working in an independent agency for over ten years as a managing partner. While working in the insurance business, I attended law school in the evenings and graduated from Chase Law School in May, 2010, Cum Laude. I am determined, independent, compassionate, and a driven individual, eager to offer my talents to my clients and my community.. I currently reside in Hebron, KY with my husband, Tim and son, Beau. I'm an avid runner and fitness enthusiast. I began practicing law on October 14, 1981. I was in private practice until February 14, 1984 when I joined the law firm of Busald Funk Zevely. I became a partner with the firm in 1986 and have practiced with Busald Funk Zevely since then. I have tried many cases in all courts in Northern Kentucky and therfore have many years of trial experience to assist my clients. I concentrate my practice primarily in family law and criminal law. I am a Northern Kentucky native who graduated from Cooper High School in Union, KY in 2011. From there, I attended Thomas More College and graduated with my bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2015. Afterwards, I attended Northern Kentucky University’s Chase College of Law & graduated in 2018. I am a member of the Kentucky Bar Association as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky.. My professional background includes experience in not only family law, but criminal law and personal injury, making me a well-rounded young professional. I began my career as an assistant prosecutor in my home county of Boone where I gained extensive experience prosecuting a dependency, neglect and abuse docket. Additionally, I handled child support cases & criminal cases involving traffic infractions and misdemeanor offenses.. I began my private practice career in October of 2021, where I was exposed to felony criminal cases and personal injury cases while continuing to build my experience in family law.
