Ronald Larry Baum was born in Baltimore, Md. in 1956 and earned his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology from the University of Maryland. While attending college he was a regular member of the Dean’s List for academic achievement. He also participated in intramural sports and earned medals in swimming, diving, wrestling, and softball. Toward the end of his collegiate career he got his first job as a private investigator working in the Md., D.C., and Va. area.. Ronald Baum went to law school at Nova University in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. While earning his law degree he excelled academically and earned three Book Awards (given out by the professor to the student who excelled highest in the class). While attending law school Mr. Baum also obtained his private pilot’s license and, in addition, was employed as a private investigator part-time.. After graduating from law school Mr. Baum was admitted to practice law in Florida, Maryland, Washington D.C., and is a member of the Federal Bar.. As a criminal attorney Mr. Baum has had extensive trial experience and earned 5 consecutive Hat Trick Awards from the BACDL (each separate award represented 3 consecutive felony jury trials with the Defendant being found not guilty on all counts in each case)..
