In 2019 I joined Solution Law, APC, on Harbor Blvd. in Fountain Valley as part of a team of experienced lawyers and paralegals that focus on personal injury as well as business, employment, real estate,  and trust litigation as well as criminal defense matters in both federal and California courts. Also, I have served four terms on the Board of Directors of a Homeowners' Association with two terms as president during a period of construction defect litigation and two terms on the Board of Directors, including a term as vice-president, of another homeowners' association.. My legal career started in the Huntington Beach City Attorney's office where I served as a Deputy City Attorney from 1986 to 1988 and on a contract basis as an outside attorney until 2003.. In personal injury matters, Solution Law fronts all costs and works on a contingency fee such that our clients never pay anything out-of-pocket. All fees and costs are deducted from the award or settlement.. In workers' compensation matters, there are no upfront costs or fees for injured workers with claims before the California workers' compensation courts.  Our fees are usually 15% of any award or settlement subject to approval by a California Workers' Compensation Administrative Law Judge.
