I have over 26 years experience in both DUI/DWI prosecution and defense, including many alcohol-related manslaughter cases.  I work hard to make sure that all possible defenses are explored.  I'm not a stranger to the Courtroom and have extensive Court and Jury Trial experience.  I am especially adept in resolving repeat offender cases where the client is facing a lot of jail time.. I have been practicing law in Central Maryland, where I was born and raised, since 1998, leaving the law firm practice briefly to serve as general counsel and manager for a mid-size business in the construction industry.  Beyond business litigation and general counsel experience, I have a background in legislation and public policy that I have relied upon to represent clients in regulatory and legislative matters, including First Amendment issues, planning and zoning, and education.  The father of a special needs daughter, I take advantage of opportunities and forums that allow me to advocate to enhance the opportunties for disabled children.
