Feeling the call to public service, I took a job as prosecutor for the City of Fredericksburg in 2006. During my time with the City I prosecuted nearly every imaginable type of case and I routinely advised and trained the police officers with whom I worked.  I also served as a special prosecutor in Hanover, Spotsylvania, and Stafford Counties in certain matters.  In February 2009, I completed a course of in-depth training in the prosecution of online crimes against children.  I was only one of eighty or so prosecutors selected nationwide for that course of study..
