I have over 28 years of experience in Residential and Commercial Real Estate, representing lenders and mortgage companies in their needs for title services, title insurance, closings, and document preparation. Additionally, I have experience in Estate Law and Estate Planning, preparing wills, living wills, durable powers of attorney, and healthcare powers of attorney.
I dreamed of being a lawyer from a young age. I feel privileged to practice in a profession I love. I also feel privileged to use my law degree and skills acquired in the education arena too, as I am also a former Adjunct Professor at the Univerity of Cincinnati and currently the Program Coordinator for the Paralegal Program at Gateway Community and Technical College.. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my son, reading, hiking and otherwise being outdoors.
I am passionate about helping my clients through whatever difficult situation they are facing. Whether they are suffering from injuries arising out of a car accident, or feeling like they are drowning in debt, I want to take the burden off their shoulders and fight the battle for them so that they can focus on what truly matters in life.
Ashley B. Sexton earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature from Eastern Kentucky University in 2011 and her J.D. in 2015 from Salmon P. Chase College of Law. Determined in her pursuit to become an advocate, Ashley became very involved with Eastern Kentucky University’s mock trial competition team. Ashley’s trial team earned a bid for the National Championship Tournament. Only 48 teams nationwide — less than 10 percent of those in the country — qualified for the National Championship Tournament. The EKU team was the only one from Kentucky to remain in the national competition, joining the elites of Columbia University, Princeton University, New York University, and the like. Due to her involvement with Eastern Kentucky’s mock trial team, Ashley received the Robert Sanders Excellence in Advocacy scholarship from Salmon P. Chase College of Law. While in law school, Ashley interned with the Boone County Prosecutor’s Office and for Kentucky Court of Appeals Judge Allison Emerson Jones. Ashley is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Ashley is a member of the American Bar Association, Kentucky Bar Association, Louisville Bar Association, Northern Kentucky Bar Association, the Kentucky Justice Association, and the American Association for Justice.Ashley is passionate about family law because it gives her the opportunity to work directly with clients and to help them through their own difficult time in their lives. Ashley is an active volunteer with various charitable organizations throughout the Commonwealth, including the Ronald McDonald House, Special Olympics of Kentucky, The Salvation Army, and the Kentucky Humane Society.
