Upon graduation, Mike went to work at Fulbright & Jaworski LLP, which is one of nation's most recognized and distinguished law firms. During his time there, he gained considerable knowledge of litigation practices. He not only represented healthcare providers, but insurance companies, as well; he even represented cases before the Texas Department of Insurance. This, while challenging and interesting, was not where his passion lay and he eventually left to accept a position at Arnold & Itkin in 2007; he later became a partner in 2011.. Now, Mike is able to spend his time working to protect the legal rights of the injured in cases nationwide. He has been able to try more than 20 cases to verdict in state and federal courts alike, and he has been seen in courts throughout Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. A native of Kermit, Texas, I attended Southern Methodist University and earned my undergraduate degree in psychology in 1996. I earned my law degree from the South Texas College of Law in Houston, and have been licensed to practice law in the State of Texas since 2001.. After working for one of the most high profile Personal Injury law firms in the country, I decided to start my own law firm to help both mesothelioma victims as well as those injured or killed by Oilfield Trucking.  My vast years of trial experience includes work on a case that resulted in one of the nation’s largest verdicts in 2004, as reported by The National Law Journal. My efforts in the asbestos and toxic torts arena have earned me an incredibly strong reputation among both plaintiffs and defense counsel as fair, knowledgeable and results oriented. I concentrate my litigation practice on representing plaintiffs in the areas of personal injury, products liability, toxic torts, wrongful death, Trucking Accidents and asbestos litigation..
