Andrea Roberts (formerly known as Andrea Cates) grew up in Pascagoula, Mississippi and graduated from Pascagoula High School in 2005. After recovering from hurricane Katrina, Andrea joined the United States Navy in 2008. She served in the Navy as an Aviation Ordnanceman until she was honorably discharged in 2013. While serving on active duty in the United States Navy Andrea was deployed three times during a time of war, for Operation Iraqi Freedom. Although Andrea had a crucial and critical job in the Navy she was able to obtain her bachelors degree in Criminal Justice while in the Navy. Andrea graduated from ECPI with highest honors, and was valedictorian of her program.. Andrea has always had a deep passion to help others so when she made the decision to leave the Navy she knew her next job had to continue her ability to protect and serve.
