After graduating from law school in 1992, I joined my father and my current partner, former Judge S.A. (Bud)Watson in their practice. After graduating from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 1992, I began practicing law in Huntsville with the law firm of Wilmer & Shepard, P.A.. In February 1995 I left the firm and began my own office. Since then I have represented clients in a variety of legal matters, ranging from complex litigation involving several parties to business transactions and personal legal matters. By my estimates I have successfully tried over 100 cases in federal and state court.. In 2010, after completing a comprehensive written examination, being reviewed by other attorneys and judges before whom I have tried cases, and providing proof of my trial experience, I obtained the designation of a Board Certified Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocay. I am one of only 3 attorneys in Huntsville / Madison County who maintains this certification. I also am AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell.. During my legal career I have repesented clients in well over 100 mediations. I am listed on the roster of mediator with the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama..
