I generally make myself available to my clients, often giving clients my cell phone number. I am a Certified Family Law Specialist and represent clients in Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, and select matters in the Central Coast and Sacramento area. I work with clients of all background, including business owners, homemakers, those with 7/8 figure wealth, attorneys, doctors, therapists, teachers, and military servicemembers and veterans. I also work with forensic accountants, therapists, mediators, loan officers, real estate agents, and attorneys in other fields to holistically resolve your family law issues. I have a lot of experience in high conflict custody matters, including domestic and international move away, domestic violence, substance abuse, and mental health issues. While I litigate, I settle many of my cases because I maintain good relationships with my fellow family law attorneys, the Court, and other professionals, and work hard to know the facts of your matter so I can quickly work to resolve the matter with your partner/spouse. I strongly believe in the principal of informed consent. You will know where you stand and what decisions you can make so you can make the best choice for yourself and your family.. I love the practice of family law. I know it's an unwanted service, but one that is necessary. People often come to me when they have been victims of abuse, made personal mistakes that have caused an end of a marriage or relationship, or simply have grown apart. It's hard for many people to let go of the past and the end of the relationship and move forward. That is why I work with a variety of family law related experts (financial planners, forensic accountants, life coaches, real estate professionals and therapists) to help you divide assets, heal, and take control of your future and the legacy you want to leave your loved ones.. 9/25/25: College Football Week 5 (14-6). 1) Alabama vs Georgia: Vegas has this game as nearly a push. Alabama lost to FSU Week one and looks like the fourth best SEC team this year. Georgia won at UT last week in a game they have lost but looks better and is at home. Bulldogs roll Tide. 2) Oregon vs Penn State:. Penn State should win, they are st home, they gave upgraded their defense. But Oregon's offense is unstoppable. Close game but Oregon is too explosive. Oregon wins.. 3) USC vs Illinois: Illinois got destroyed last week. USC doesn't do great on the road but year two in if 10 and has more skill on both sides of the ball. I think that loss last week won't wear off on Illinois abd they come out flat. USC wins.. 4) BYU vs. Colorado: Revenge game for the Buffalos. But, they can't stop the run, and can't run the football. BYU can run the football and has the better QB. Vegas has BYU favored by 6.5. It could be a blowout. BYU covers.. 5) TCU vs ASU: Hoover is one of the best QBs in College football. ASU is at home, but I don't think they are as good offensively without Skataboo. TCU looks to be a big 12 contender this year. Close game but I expect TCU to win a close game.. 9/29/25: Thank you, and Considerations in Settlement in DV matters:. In the last two months, I have retained a lot of cases. I very much appreciate the referrals, and the people who have reached out to me from seeing my profile on Avvo, or through any source. That has resulted in a very busy September for me, along with the rest of the year. I appreciate the trust that clients, both old and new place in me.. Have a DV matter and assume that you must go to trial to resolve your matter? Think again. While domestic violence matters require court appearances, the Court gives the parties wide latitude to resolve their matters. If you are the restrained party, and there is an existing TRO in place, contacting the other party would violate the restraining order. However, you can communicate with the other party's attorney for purpose of settlement.. Awhile ago, I retained a client who was nervous about litigating the restraining order. It was an emotional ordeal for the client, and there was a lot of worry, rightfully so, about cost and time in Court. I talked to the client about the case and realized that this was a matter that probably could be resolved without a trial. Both my and the other attorney talked through the issues and when we went to Court we had the Court write up a TRO to extend the restraining order for a longer period of time. The case settled and no witnesses were called. The client was very happy.. While there are many times where settlement is not possible (the other party or their attorney wants to fight the restraining order, there is too much emotional damage done to resolve the matter, children were abused and are in danger if they are contacted, or strategically its necessary to obtain FC 3044 findings), even in situations where the abuser and victim are married with children, attorney's can navigate these issues and negotiate an extension to the DVRO, custody and support orders. So long as the settlement is reasonable for both parties, resolving these issues will save significant time, and emotional resources of both the victim and the abuser.. I have never had a client unhappy by resolving these difficult issues without a trial, as they were in control of their own case and not the Court.. Happy to have a conversation about your family issues and can be contacted at my office by phone, in person meetings at the office, or a Zoom/WhatsApp conference.
