I am an attorney practicing in the heart of downtown Johnson City, Tennessee.  After attending Appalachian State University, I taught high school for 2 years before attending law school at the University of Louisville Law School.  After graduation, I moved to Johnson City, Tennessee and have been practicing law downtown ever since.. Growing up in South Florida as an only child, I quickly learned the importance of hard work and perseverance. From an early age I knew I wanted to be an attorney. I was the first person in my family to attend college. I fell in love with the sport of tennis and realized I could utilize this passion to further my education and my ultimate goal of becoming an attorney. I enjoyed playing Division I tennis for four years and was fortunate enough to win a conference championship and achieve Academic All-American distinction.. After my graduation from law school in 1996, I immediately began working for a boutique estate planning law firm. The reality that I could influence and assist individuals and families with the preservation and protection of their wealth solidified my desire to become an estate and wealth planning counsel. Over the past 24 years, with my Tennessee and Florida licenses, I have designed and implemented hundreds of estate plans to secure my clients’ estate planning and wealth transfer goals. It is rewarding and fulfilling to observe families experience and realize the importance of a proper estate plan design. I have devoted the past 24 years of my life to ensuring my clients and their families are protected and provided for through thoughtful and competent estate planning advice.
