My name is David Murdick and I was born and raised in Independence, Missouri. I graduated from Fort Osage High School and then enlisted in the United States Air Force. While in the Air Force, I completed five deployments to various locations throughout the Middle East and Europe. After almost 10 years in the Air Force, I went to work in the private sector for Castle Metals in Wichita, Kansas.  I then decided to come back home to attend law school at the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law.. I enjoy golfing, riding my bike and reading. My wife, Valerie, and I have three children, including twin girls and reside in Blue Springs, Missouri.

My career path began in 1987 when I opened my own legal practice in Kansas City, Kansas. I came into contact and aided people with a variety of legal issues from all walks of life. Through my practice I learned crucial business, relational, and countless other skills that have propelled me into my subsequent positions and current position with Gary Long Law, P.A.In 1997 I entered the Banking and Mortgage industry. Throughout the late 90’s and early 2000’s the mortgage industry was tumultuous and I held positions at companies including Bank of America, Old Cornerstone Financial, NovaStar Mortgage, Amtrust Mortgage Corp, and Stonegate Mortgage Corporationl. Ms. Spencer was born and raised in the rural north Missouri town of Milan. Ms. Spencer earned her B.S. degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2001.
