Lindsay Perkins is an experienced legal writer and researcher, having honed her skills in these areas since being admitted to the bar.  Lindsay collaborates with attorneys on a variety of matters on behalf of the firm's clients, developing strategies and arguments for briefings to the court and interpreting laws, rulings and regulations.. In 2012, Lindsay was selected to the lists of American Registry’s Top Attorneys – Missouri & Kansas’ Outstanding Young Lawyers and KC Magazine’s Top Attorneys – Rising Stars in Kansas.  In 2013, she was named a "Rising Star" in the area of general litigation.. Lindsay earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Law, graduating first in her class. She was the Editor-in-Chief of the UMKC Law Review, and was a member of the National Moot Court team. Lindsay received an MBA from Central Missouri State University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Avila University. She is admitted to the bar in Missouri and Kansas.. After law school, Lindsay served as a law clerk for the Honorable Duane Benton of the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Honorable Ortrie D. Smith, District Court judge for the Western District of Missouri. Following her clerkships, Lindsay practiced commercial and employment litigation at the law firm of Spencer Fane Britt & Browne LLP.
