I was 7 years old when I decided to be a lawyer. President Nixon had just resigned and I asked my grandpa about it. He told me the Supreme Court sent him to bed without his dinner because he had been naughty. I decided being a Supreme Coiurt Justice sounded like a pretty great gig and that's how I decided I wanted to be a lawyer.. I took the long way around to being a lawyer, though. I spent 15 years as a newspaper report and then a few as a private investigator. Both those jobs gave me a healthy insight to how the criminal justice system worked, how it didn't work and what folks embroiled in the criminal justice system needed from lawyers.. Every person charged with an offense deserves strong, tough and compassionate legal representation. A client is never just a number to me. I want to know about them, how they found themselves in this situation, what they need to get back on the right track. Every client is somone's child and deserves to be treated with dignity, respect and kindness. That's my promise: you will be treated with diginity, respect and kindness always.
I started law school in 2017, and graduated from the UNLV William S. Boyd School of law in 2020 with the highest Pro Bono Honors. I passed the Nevada bar exam in 2020, and began practicing as an associate attorney in Las Vegas. During law school, I was a junior staffer for the Nevada Law Journal, and then served as an Articles Editor. I was president of the Animal Legal Defense Society, and I was the Clerk for Phi Alpha Delta. I participated in Kid's Court for 3 years, serving the last two as an Educator. During law school I received the CALI award for Trial Advocacy. In my free time, I enjoy Knights games, swimming, spending time with family and friends, and travelling.
I represent smaller reporting companies with all facets of their corporate and securities law issues, including Exchange Act reporting, securities offerings, M&A, corporate formalities and general legal issues. I offer affordable legal services and understand the challenges and complexities that face companies in the start-up and development stages of operation. Feel fee to give me a call anytime to discuss your company and its needs.

I provide representation for a variety of legal matters including criminal and personal injury related cases. If you have been charged with a drug crime, DUI, juvenile matter or any other criminal offense then you should call the office and speak with me about your best possible legal options.
I primarily practice ERISA, labor law, and general civil litigation. I joined my firm as a law clerk and became an associate upon being admitted to the Nevada Bar. Our firm focuses on union representation in unfair labor practice proceedings, election disputes, grievance processing, collective bargaining agreement negotiations, and general litigation needs. Our firm also represents several large Taft-Hartley Trust Funds. We represent those funds in collection matters, asset management, fund and plan design, and general litigation.. I graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in 2012. While in law school, I served on the Nevada Law Journal, received Dean’s List honors, and earned CALI Awards for Excellence for earning the highest grade in two courses, Legislation & Statutory Interpretation and Criminal Procedure - Investigation. During law school, I served as a legal extern and lobbyist with Snell & Wilmer’s Government Affairs unit during the 2011 legislative session in Carson City.. Prior to attending law school, I received a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in Political Science from the University of Nevada, Reno. During my undergraduate studies, I served two terms as an elected student senator and was inducted into Who’s Who Among American Colleges and Universities.. I am a member of the State Bar of Nevada, admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Nevada and all Nevada state courts. I am admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. I am also admitted to practice in the State of Washington, admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington and all Washington State courts.
I practice primarily personal injury, representing over 2,500 injury clients over 17 years of practice with tens of millions of dollars in damages recovered. I love being in trial and have completed over 35 trials to jury verdict or judicial decision. I am a lifetime member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum for attorneys who have settled a case with a value over $2,000,000.. I have handled various appeals before the Nevada Supreme Court, Nevada Court of Appeals, the Bankruptcy Appellate Panel and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.. I have resolved dozens of plaintiff-side employment discrimination claims for race, gender, sexual harassment, disability and retaliation, along with civil rights claims against the government. I have represented over 1,000 criminal defense matters including DUI, domestic violence, drug charges, sexual assault and white collar crimes.. While I am not accepting bankruptcy cases at this time, from 2009-2023 I had one of the most active bankruptcy practices in Nevada. I also spent several years practicing in copyright and trademark infringement litigation, commercial and entertainment contract litigation. In transactional work, I have personally handled motion picture finance, television deals, reality show performance contracts, record deals, record label foundations, management contracts, song licensing, band merchandising, music publishing, songwriter and production deals, motion picture development contracts, as well as copyright and trademark counseling and filing. I also have experience in the areas of Nevada business formation and franchises.. I have been featured as an alumni guest speaker at Harvard Law School, and as a guest presenter at the International Academy of Design and Emerson College.. The personal side: “I grew up in the Niagara region of Ontario, Canada, spending much of my childhood on a farm outside a steeltown about 15 miles from Buffalo, New York. My mother’s family were mostly union iron and steelworkers, my father a military officer. During my teen years, things got more exciting and through a random series of events I was able to spend time in Germany with my father, and later attended boarding school in New Zealand and then college in Hawaii. I developed a strong affinity for the people and cultures of Polynesia, and even performed in Samoan and Maori culture dance troupes.. During college I took two years off to serve a religious mission in Seattle, Washington, where I worked solely with the Spanish-speaking immigrants in the metro Seattle area. We not only taught doctrine but helped people find jobs, establish social groups and make new friends, get furniture for their empty homes, and helped people integrate and build lives in America. Their problems were our problems, and those years working with Latin families in their homes gave me invaluable insight into the communities and the struggles of Hispanic immigrants to the USA. It was also in Seattle that I first considered being an attorney - I never even knew any lawyers before then… a big departure from wanting to be an artist. I returned to Hawaii, changed majors from Visual Art to International Business, and worked on getting into law school.. When I went to law school at Harvard, I was the only person who said they wanted to be a plaintiff’s lawyer; a friend who is an injury lawyer won me over with stories about his cases helping severely injured people. I was also the only person in the whole class to start their own practice right away, as soon as I was licensed I formed my first practice. And I’ve been proud to help people who have been injured, people accused of crimes, families in financial trouble, artists and small business owners with intellectual property issues and more. I like working with people and now enjoy the ‘counselor’ role of the attorney.. I’m married with three young children. I enjoy movies and documentaries, photography and graphic design, exotic sports cars and languages. Still dabbling in Photoshop and typography, I also created the infamous Hello Kitty Ferrari that went around the internet.”
I opened the Law Office of Shelley Lubritz, PLLC, to bring my experience in family law matters to clients who need effective and experienced legal representation. Whether your case involves divorce, child custody, or a myriad of other family law issues, I am dedicated to achieving the “right” result.. I practice, solely, in the area of family law because you, and your children, deserve more than a cookie-cutter lawyer. For more than 20 years, I have successfully represented clients throughout the Las Vegas Valley, Summerlin, Green Valley, and Henderson.. Achieving success in a matrimonial or custody case requires an attorney who can identify and apply effective legal strategies. It is my philosophy that each client deserves the personal attention I would expect as a client. Family law is a unique field, in that, the quality of life of each individual is impacted by every decision made and every Order issued by the Court. When we talk, I listen. When you have questions, I provide answers. When you need to meet, I make the time.. I look forward to meeting with you!
I only represent employees owed unpaid wages, overtime, commissions, tips or other money they have earned but not been paid. I have spent over 30 years fighting to get employees the pay they have earned and deserve, whether overtime pay, commissions, tips, construction work prevailing wages, or other wages. That has included collecting millions for people who have been denied even the minimum hourly wage. Among the most prominent cases I have handled was the AOL "volunteers" case involving online "chat room" hosts and other "volunteers" who got paid nothing at all for performing online services for AOL. That case ultimately settled for $15,000,000 and resulted in payments to thousands of those "volunteers" who otherwise would have received nothing at all. I have represented thousands of casino employees, salespeople, taxi drivers, food service workers, and different blue collar and white collar workers in a wide variety of industries.. Many attorneys who handle other sorts of cases, such as personal injury claims, also represent workers with claims for unpaid overtime wages or other wages. While some of those other attorneys may do a good job, collecting money owed to employees is all I do, so if you have an issue with work you have done and money you feel you are owed visit my website and give me a call. Consultations are always free. And I never represent employers.
I meet with all clients personaly as I believe each client deserves the benefit of being able to have their questions answered at the outset of the representation. We do not double schedule clients so that people feel rushed, but rather, each client is given up to a full hour as they deem necessary, in the initial consultation to discuss their individual legal challenges and ask all of the questions they have, so that they may make the right decisions. We belive in providing quality one on one service, and honesty, integrity and accountability are the principles we run our practice on.
I love helping people and my position at the Cardenas Law Group gives me the opportunity to do just that. We call ourselves boutique, but all that means is that we provide a personal touch that is unmatched.. Taylor was born in Henderson, Nevada and has lived in Clark County his whole life. Taylor earned his Juris Doctor degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law in Las Vegas, Nevada, and his Bachelor of Arts in History, from the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
I love cats, art and my children. Not necessarily in that order, (although now that all of my children/step-children are teenagers it depends what day you ask me!) It is therefore probably no surprise that my passions, (aside from my law firm), are animal welfare, art and education. I volunteer for a local all-volunteer cat rescue, I am on the board of Directors of a non-profit art gallery, and I am one of the parent representatives on the School Organizational Team (S.O.T.) of one of my son’s schools for the second year in a row. I believe it is my dedication to my family and local community that have helped make me a good lawyer. I was born and educated in England. I was the first member of my family to attend university and I worked as a barmaid throughout college and Law School to help support myself. I graduated from the University of East Anglia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Law in 1994. I then attended Nottingham Law School before completing a two year training contract with National Law firm Shoosmiths Solicitors. At the time it was incredibly difficult to find a training contract and I took a job working in the mail room at Shoosmiths while I continued to apply for training contracts. I was told in no uncertain terms that this summer job would NOT lead to a training contract but I have always been stubborn, (as my father will tell you!) I was given a training contract after a few months and I spent six months in each of the four main departments and gained experience in Corporate Law, Commercial Litigation, Commercial Property and Personal Injury. I was admitted to the roll and became a Solicitor, (the English equivalent of an attorney), in 1997. I worked as an Assistant Solicitor in a small law firm called Cordell & Co. specializing in Personal Injury, from September 1997 through March 2001. I handled approximately 350 cases at any one time, supervised junior members of staff and I helped set up policies and procedures to streamline the firm. In March 2001, I founded Fishers Solicitors, (my maiden name is Fisher), a firm committed exclusively to handling personal injury cases arising out of motor vehicle accidents. As the sole Director and Shareholder, I helped grow the firm to over 50 members of staff. In 2002, I moved to Las Vegas, although I maintained my interest in Fishers Solicitors until it closed in 2012.. I started Terry Law Group, PC ("TLG") in 2013 We handle all types of injury cases including motor vehicle accidents, pedestrian accidents, animal bites, product liability, boating accidents, elder abuse, wrongful death, dental malpractice, food poisoning, slip and fall, assault and battery, negligent security, bed bug bites and mold or other habitability cases. I am as passionate about getting justice and fair compensation for my clients as I am about every other aspect of my life. I have some understanding of what it is like to be injured, (I suffered a compound fracture of my tibia in an accident which required two surgeries over two years). I have been practicing law for 20 years and I am dedicated to listening to my clients’ needs, providing honest, straightforward advice and walking my clients through the difficult and often lengthy process after an accident so they do not feel alone. TLG – it’s as close to TLC as I could make it.
I love being a lawyer. I get a great deal of satisfaction out of helping people navigate the complex situations they are currently in, and plan ahead to avoid future difficulties. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my kids. We especially enjoy cooking/baking together.

I have spent the majority of my legal career advising employers in the field of labor and employment law. Prior to law school, I worked as a human resources professional so I know very well the issues that confront employers in managing their employees. From answering routine questions about how to hire, discipline or terminate an employee to representing employers before courts and government agencies in legal disputes, I have over 20 years of experience in labor and employment law. Unlike other firms, my law firm is the only locally-based Nevada firm serving southern Nevada employers exclusively in the field of labor and employment law. We have consistently been ranked as a top law firm by Chambers & Partners. Our firm prides itself on delivering excellent, personalized service to all of our clients, no matter how large or small their organization may be. You owe it to your company to see what sets my firm and I apart from our competitors.
I have practiced law in Nevada for more than 27 years primarily in Family Court cases. I also dedicate a fraction of my caseload to criminal law and helping the accused. For more than 13 years I had the privledge of serving as a Hearing Master assigned to juvenile delinquent cases and ran the drug court. My extensive experience from both sides of the bench gives me a perspective few attorney's have. If you want an energetic, talented and knowledgable attorney who will efficiently handle your matter, please call me for a free consultation.
I have practiced in the area of domestic relations law for more than 20 years and during this time have helped hundreds of clients with their family law matters. I take pride in my work and take seriously the fact that most family law clients have little if any experince with the court system. As a result, I try to represent the civil justice system in as positive a manner as possible. This means being masterful of the facts of each case, forming reasonable opinions regarding the application of the law to those facts, promptly addressing client concerns, moving matters along without unnecessary delay or expense and being candid with clients regarding expectations, outcomes, timeframes and costs.. When not practicing law, I enjoy watching baseball, reading and travel. I am also an avid music fan and enjoy spending time with my husband and family.

I have been representing Las Vegas since 1982. My grandfather was a lawyer, my father was a lawyer, and I started working with my father in 1982 litigating criminal and family law cases. In 1982 I passed the bar after graduating CUM LAUDE from California Western School of Law. I was accepted into the US Navy as a Judge Avocate General (i.e., lawyer in the Navy), and I tried many felony and misdemeanor criminal cases. I was in charge of the Navy's equivalent to the Personal Injury Section for the year, and I gained much criminal and civil experience.. In 1986, I was honorably discharged from the Navy, and I entered private practice with my father. Ever since, I have tried many criminal (both felony and misdemeanor cases), family law cases, and personal injury cases. I also did Chapter 7 Bankruptcies for almost 20 years.. My practice now centers on contracts, criminal, personal injury, all family law (divorce, TPO, child custody), and general civil litigation. My hourly fee of $ (negotiable) is lower than most other attorneys, simply beacuse my overhead is lower. I also have a paralegal service for those who cannot afford an attorney.. "I BELIEVE IN JUSTICE, AND MY ONLY GOAL IS TO SERVE MY CLIENT'S BEST INTEREST, ALWAYS!". Yo he estado representando Las Vegas desde 1982.
I have been practicing law since 1997. I truly enjoy being able to help those who have been injured due to someone's carelessness. I am thankful for the opportunity my clients have afforded me to represent them in their time of need.. I always strive to give my clients a thoughtful, honest, assessment of their case. It does no good to offer anything but a fair and straight forward analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of their case. My theory is that I advise my clients the same way I would advise my family.. I recommend anyone who is considering hiring a personal injury attorney to ask what type of experience that lawyer or his firm has in trying cases. Sometimes, trial is the only way to attempt to receive fair compenstion for your injuries. Although attorneys try to farily settle their client's claim, I believe you shoud be weary of any personal injury attorney who settles all of their cases and doesn't have the resources, skill, or desire to present your case in court if necessary.. The attorney/client relationship really is almost like a marriage As such, it is important for the attorney and client to work together. Anyone thinking of hiring an should think long and hard about whether the attorney they are hiring is someone they can have a positive relationship with over the life their case- which in some instances is several years.
