Stuart E. Shelton was awarded a Juris Doctor from the Seattle University Law School in 1981 and a Bachelor of Arts in Society and Justice from the University of Washington. Stuart devotes all his efforts exclusively to personal injury, auto trauma and medical malpractice law; helping people battle insurance companies for fair compensation in cases involving negligence by health care professionals, and in cases involving vehicle accidents. Further he often serves as a mediator assisting parties to resolve their claims.. In his free time Stuart enjoys playing golf. He has been married for 45 years and has three children.

Eric Shelton began working for his father’s law firm, Stuart E. Shelton Injury Law, PLLC, in 2015 after defending insurance companies in IFCA, CPA, and bad faith disputes for a large Seattle law firm.  At his previous position he also represented at-fault drivers and their employers in auto trauma cases and physicians in medical malpractice/wrongful death matters and proceedings before state disciplinary commissions.  Prior to representing civil defendants, Mr. Shelton worked as a King County Prosecutor.  In his work as a prosecutor, Mr. Shelton appeared in court on a daily basis and handled over 50 trial assignments, taking 12 cases to verdict.  Mr. Shelton is a member of the Washington State Association for Justice and a Washington State, Pierce County, and Thurston County bar member.  He grew up in Olympia, attending Capital High School, and now lives with his wife and two boys in Tacoma near the University of Puget Sound.
