Travis Hillenbrand was born in Oceanside, California, and grew up in Evansville, Indiana. He attended the University of Southern Indiana to do his undergraduate studies before continuing his education at Southern Illinois University School of Law in Carbondale, Illinois.. As a student, Mr. Hillenbrand was a student contributor for the Journal of Legal Medicine, while also sitting as an editor for the Law Review. During his studies, Mr. Hillenbrand took part in various “know-your-rights” campaigns in the Southern Illinois area aimed at raising awareness of a person’s legal rights in various situations ranging from traffic stops to evictions. Continuing his passion for law, Mr. Hillenbrand participated in the trial team where he competed in several trial competitions in Kentucky and Georgia, and a voir dire tournament in Missouri. Mr. Hillenbrand has also worked with organizations devoted to re-integrating returning citizens from corrections facilities and has a passion for seeing returning citizens succeed in their post-conviction lives.. Austin Harris was born and raised in Lafayette, Indiana. He attended Indiana University - Bloomington for his undergraduate studies in Accounting at the Kelley School of Business. Following, he was a business development intern for Ice Miller before continuing his education at Indiana University McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis, Indiana.. While at McKinney, Mr. Harris was a Business Law Association member and earned a Graduate Certificate in corporate and commercial law. He also took part in Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic's Spring4Justice efforts to help raise support towards providing legal assistance and education to low-income individuals. Before joining Luisa White Law, Mr. Harris also gained valuable experience as a legal intern at the Legal Aid Corporation of Tippecanoe County continuing his efforts towards serving the indigent community.
