Jackie grew up in Indiana and joined the Indiana Army National Guard as a military paralegal in January 2001. Jackie deployed to Bosnia-Herzegovina (2004) and Afghanistan (2006) during her time in the National Guard. Jackie also worked as a legal assistant when not deployed.. Jackie went to the Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law, where she was a published member of the Penn State Law Review. After law school, Jackie prosecuted in both Indiana and Florida.
