For more than twenty years, I have devoted my practice to trial work, specifically work that involves representing and helping families.. Much of my work centers on divorce and custody. Divorce is a uniquely personal experience. I help my clients navigate through this difficult time in their lives with dignity, respect, and compassion.. In my adoption practice, I represent adoptive parents, biological parents, and step parents in private and agency adoptions. For all matters, I help my clients identify their goals and determine how best to achieve them.

My legal experiences prior to “hanging my own shingle” included serving as a student attorney for the University of Tennessee Legal Clinic and clerking for Holland Law in Knoxville. Those experiences allowed her to be involved in criminal defense, family law, general civil litigation, business law, probate, juvenile, and housing cases. I also interned for Judge Thomas Varlan of the Eastern District of Tennessee Federal Court and for the Tennessee General Assembly working under Tommie F. Brown and the Higher Education Subcommittee.. My biggest passion in life is serving my clients to the best of my ability, spoiling my nephew Alexander, and spending time with my friends and fur kids, CoCo, Cricket, and Aspen.
