When I am not in the office, I enjoy rock climbing, running, and yoga. I have a loving female German Shepherd at home named Yara. I was married in September of 2017 to my amazing wife Patricia and started practicing law with my father shortly thereafter.

I am experienced in vigorously protecting my clients' rights while providing guidance and reassurance in a supportive environment. I value my clients' experiences and partner with them to develop an intelligent and effective case strategy.. I understand how to be aggressive when circumstances demand it, but also know that domestic issues are often best settled through reasoned negotiation. My goal is to minimize the conflict while finding solutions that work for parent.. I work with families in all areas of family law, including divorce, modifications of child support, modifications of child custody, administrative child support proceedings, custody arrangments between never married parents, adoptions, step-parent adoptions, grandparent visitation, adult and minor name changes.. Prior to practing in private practice, I  worked as law clerk to the Honorable Patrick W. Campbell  and Honorable Christine Sill-Rogers of the 16th Judicial Circuit Court of Jackson County, Missouri – Family Court Division where where I gained considerable insight into how judges decide family law matters.

I am a proud husband and father who enjoys travel, cooking and games of all kinds. I take my responsibilities as an attorney very seriously; I take my responsibilities as a father and husband equally seriously. No lawyer should avoid drawing on his or her personal experiences when representing a client, and the more substantial and fulfilling a lawyer's personal life, the more benifit he or she can bring to his client from his own life experience. As such, I work hard to balance those two aspects of my life in a way that maxamizes the benifits I recieve from both.. As for my professional philosophy, I started this practice with the idea that people need attorneys in the same way they need doctors. Most of the time people are best served by "their lawyer", who knows their history, sees many people situated similarly to them, and has a broad understanding of the law.. Generally, people know when something is wrong, and know that they want it fixed, but in law, like in medicine, most people don't know the best way to fix the problem, or if they do, they understand that their legal health is too important not to engage the help of a professional. As such, it is my belief that, based on his personal familiarity with the client from representing the client's past legal needs, a general practitioner is highly effective at diagnosing the legal ailments of an average client, and developing a plan for treatment and long-term care. It is with this philosophy and these personal tools that I assist and advise my clients, whether they need a health-care directive drafted, received a speeding ticket, are dealing with a child-support issue, or have been gravely injured due to the negligence of another.
