Mark has worked in the legal profession for 38 years and managed his own law practice for 30 years. He is a graduate of the Orange County College of Trial Advocacy and the Alliance Defense Freedom’s National Litigation Academy. In addition to his legal work, he has served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for foster children who have been the victims of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. Mark was also a visiting professor at the Eberhardt School of Business at the University of the Pacific Stockton campus for 8 years where he taught business communications, business law, and international law. He currently travels annually to East Africa to teach at a small college in Tanzania.. Mark is admitted to practice in all California Courts, the United States District Court (Eastern, Central, and Northern Districts), as well as the United States Court of Appeals (Ninth Circuit). I have been licensed as an Attorney at Law with the State Bar of California since 1996.  I am licensed to practice law in the California state courts and the 9th Circuit of the Federal Court, Eastern District.. In 2006, I retired from the California State Fire Marshal's Office as an Assistant Deputy Director and had served a total of 30 years in difference aspects of the fire services.  In 2006 I began my full-time law practice.. I have also assisted other attorneys throughout the United States and the Island of Guam on their cases where they concern fire codes and builiding codes.. I graduated from San Joaquin Delta College with an AA in Fire Technology, the California State Universtiy, Stanislaus with a BA in Political Science, and Laurence Drivon School of Law with a Juris Doctorate degree.  I am also a graduate of the California POST Basic Academy (Police Academy).  I am a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served from 1975-1979..
