After an initial stint following gradulation from Columbia, as an engineer for Chrysler Corporation in Detroit, I migrated to Los Angleles and was Technical Editor of Hot Rod Magazine and Engineering Editor for Motor Trend Magazine, from 1971-74, before obtaining my law degree in 1978. I started my law career at Latham & Watkins from 1978-81 and have had a my own law firm or a small partnership since 1983. I have regularly participated in track events and for nearly 20 years have been a navigator in the Silver State Classic Challenge in Nevada, in the 150 mile per hour class. I am an active member of Checkered Flag 200, a support group for the Petersen Automotive Museum, and I have handled a number of lawsuits and disputes involving collector cars such as Ferraris, Porsches and even some old race cars, as well as many business disputes, financing disputes and construction defects cases..
