Ms. Vanessa C. Reed is a seasoned attorney with a comprehensive background in both injury and family law. She earned her undergraduate degree from Christopher Newport University and completed her legal education at Regent University School of Law. Since being admitted to the Virginia State Bar and U.S. Bankruptcy Court in 2001, and later the South Carolina Bar in 2021, Ms. Reed has developed a versatile practice. After starting her career in insurance defense for a major Northern Virginia firm, she shifted her focus to family law, where she spent almost a decade assisting clients through divorce, custody, adoption, and related matters. Since 2005, Ms. Reed has been a dedicated advocate in Manassas, with a practice now centered on personal injury and workers’ compensation litigation. Her deep knowledge of insurance defense equips her to effectively represent individuals who have suffered injuries in the workplace or due to another’s negligence. Ms. Reed remains committed to serving clients in family law and guardianship, offering insightful, client-focused representation for a broad range of needs.

Mr. Reed’s current practice areas include Criminal Defense, Family Law, Personal Injury, and Workers’ Compensation. Mr Reed has represented a wide range of clients ranging from Fortune 100 companies to small businesses including, major retailers, insurance companies, construction contractors and an automobile manufacturer.. Mr. Reed was admitted to the Virginia Bar in 2003.

I graduated from George Mason University School of Law in 1988.  At age twenty-four, I began practicing law as an associate with a general practice firm, handling the firm's workers' compensation claims.  In 1992, I established my own practice, dedicated primarily to helping injured workers and their families.  During my first ten years of practice I also served as a court appointed criminal defense attorney and guardian ad litem for children and incapacitated adults.  Thereafter my practice was limited exclusively to workers' compensation.
