Richard Neff is the founder of Neff Law Firm, where he focuses on technology, ecommerce, media and copyright law, with a strong specialty in international transactions and intellectual property enforcement. In the early part of his career, he was an international transactional lawyer in Washington, DC, but has now spent half his life practicing in California.  A former chairman of the Business Software Alliance, for many years he managed the antipiracy programs in Latin America for large software companies such as Microsoft, Adobe, Autodesk, Symantec and Apple.  But he always focused on his transactional practice with its strong international flavor, for clients ranging from the largest technology companies in the world to internet startups.  When not working, he devotes a lot of time and effort to running, weights, cycling and skiing.  He is on the Board of the Technology Council of Southern California and is active with Pacific Council on International Policy.
