Hope Phelps is a New Orleans native and Mount Carmel Academy graduate. Hope received a dual degree from Louisiana State University in 2013, earning both a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She earned her J.D., cum laude, in May 2016 from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. Hope competed on the 2014 First Amendment Moot Court Team and returned to coach the 2016 team. Fortunately, after receiving excellent medical care from the many doctors and nurses during his stay, my son was able to go home after 78 days in the hospital..
