Louis DiRosa, Jr. began his legal career as a law clerk to Chief Judge Gerald P Fedoroff of Orleans Parish Civil District Court. He then served as an Assistant City Attorney in both the litigation and criminal sections of the City Attorney’s Office. He served under four Mayors. Louis also served the public as an Assistant Attorney General, an attorney for the Louisiana Legislative Bureau and as a Hearing Officer for the New Orleans Sewerage and Water Board. I double majored at the University of California in Santa Barbara, where I also ran cross country and track. I graduated from Tulane Law School. Before law school, I was a substitute teacher in Santa Barbara, Calfornia, and then went on to be a full time special education public school teacher in the New Orleans area for under priviledged kids.
