Tom Richard was a founding member of our firm. Tom completed his undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University in 1979. He graduated from Loyola Law School in 1983, where he was a member of the Law Review. Tom was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 1983 and was admitted to practice before all Louisiana federal courts in 1984. Joey is a native New Orleanian who was a Blue Jay and attended Jesuit High School and subsequently attended Louisiana State University for a technological degree where he was in the nationally renowned "Golden Band from Tigerland." Joey then attended Loyola New Orleans School of Law and later practiced in the areas of insurance defense, construction defect, premises liability, insurance coverage, property damage, and participated in various trials and arbitrations. Joey's father "Joe" was a lawyer for thirty-years in New Orleans and developed an extensive plaintiff personal injury practice by taking a unique approach to the handling of claims. Joey is married to his wife Virginia and they have three children, Caroline, Charlotte, and Daniel.
