I grew up in Detroit in a family of lawyers.  I am the fourth generation of my family to attend law school at the University of Michigan.  I am honored to work in this noble profession, and nothing makes me happier then to see the look on a client's face when I am able to obtain a settlement or resolution of their legal problems.. I focus my practice in the area of landlord-tenant law representing landlords and property management companies.I handle both commercial and residential evictions and the accompanying damage claims for my clients throughout the state.  I also handle litigation dealing with lead-based paint issues, bed bugs, Fair Housing (discrimination) claims, building code orders, public nuisance lawsuits, building code orders, and the defense of Wisconsin Administrative Code - ATCP 134 violations and investigations.. I feel it is my duty to be actively engaged in my community through pro bono service and volunteer work. I participate in the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinic, providing free advice to low-income residents. I have served as the Chair of the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and as President of the Wisconsin Hispanic Lawyers Association. I have given numerous presentations on immigration law and policy at non-profit organizations, schools, and churches. I have also appeared several times on the Telmundo Wisconsin television program Buscando Soluciones to talk about immigration issues.
