I spent the better part of my life working for litigation law firms. I started my career in law as a file clerk before going to law school and becoming a lawyer. I was blessed with many great mentor's, all of whom were litigators, and I planned to follow in their footsteps. But all that changed when one of them suddenly passed away.. Although he was a successful attoney with a family, he didn't have a plan in place. Without a plan in place, the family began the slow and painful process of navigating through the probate process. After seeing the devestation and impact it had, I left the life of civil litigation practice and opened my own firm dedicated to protecting families and helping them avoid the turmoil of failing to plan.. I've helped hundreds of clients create meaningful plans that will not only protect themselves, but also their families and finances. My clients have the freedom and peace of mind of knowing that regardless of what happens tomorrow their family will be taken care of.

For the past 20 years I've practiced exclusively family law, spending 4-5 days a week in court settling matters whenever possible and otherwise going to hearing and prevailing on most all issues.  My approach is to be civil, kind and fair with opposing counsel and the parties at all times. I don't need to be aggressive or hostile to prevail in court.  I win with preparation, knowledge of the facts and law, passionate concern, superior intellect and courtoom skills developed over conducting hundreds if not thousands of hearings. I am the first attorney my colleagues ask for advise and the  last attorney my adversaries want to face inside the courtroom.. I stake my reputation on the opinions of my adversaries, judges, clerks, court reportsrs and deputies I have appeared before and who have watched me in their courtrooms day in and day out for two decades. I value my worth by my client's  satusfaction and gratitude for my dedicated service.. I've obtained sanctions awards of $100,000, $80,000 $67,000, and $50,000 against opposing parties whom I caught lying in court and frustrating the policy of promoting settlement while unnecessarily increasing the cost of litigation.. I have obtained hundreds if not thousands of clients shared custody rights and quality parenting time with their children.. I get darn near tearful with pride when I read my clients' testimonials.  It is their thanks for my hard work that makes it all worthwhile.
