For the past 20 years I've practiced exclusively family law, spending 4-5 days a week in court settling matters whenever possible and otherwise going to hearing and prevailing on most all issues.  My approach is to be civil, kind and fair with opposing counsel and the parties at all times. I don't need to be aggressive or hostile to prevail in court.  I win with preparation, knowledge of the facts and law, passionate concern, superior intellect and courtoom skills developed over conducting hundreds if not thousands of hearings. I stake my reputation on the opinions of my adversaries, judges, clerks, court reportsrs and deputies I have appeared before and who have watched me in their courtrooms day in and day out for two decades. I've obtained sanctions awards of $100,000, $80,000 $67,000, and $50,000 against opposing parties whom I caught lying in court and frustrating the policy of promoting settlement while unnecessarily increasing the cost of litigation.. I have obtained hundreds if not thousands of clients shared custody rights and quality parenting time with their children..
