Torrance was born in Spokane, and raised in Spokane, Washington and Punta Gorda, Florida, graduating from Charlotte High School in 1995. Torrance earned a Bachelor’s Degree in History at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia in 1998. Torrance attended the University of Montana Law School beginning in 2001, and graduating in 2004. Torrance has been with Tipp Coburn Lockwood PC since January 2005. Torrance represents individuals in a variety of legal areas, including motor vehicle accidents, personal injury, employment discrimination, and wrongful termination. Torrance is licensed to practice before all State and Federal courts in the State of Montana, as well as the both Ninth Circuit and Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Montana Bar Association and the Western Montana Bar Association. When he is not busy attending to the varied needs of his clients, Torrance enjoys coaching and refereeing youth soccer. He also enjoys playing soccer himself in many local leagues, and served on the Board of the Missoula Strikers Soccer Association.

While attending the University of Montana School of Law, Kathryn volunteered at the Missoula SelfHelp Law Center, family law pro-bono clinics through the law school, and for Soft Landing.. Upon obtaining her Juris Doctorate, Kathryn began her career at a criminal defense and personal injury law firm in Missoula. I am Montana born and raised.  I have been practicing law for 23 years, and spent time in the banking industry prior to returning to law school.  My practice is limited to family law, and engaging in alternative dispute resolution (mediation, arbitration and settlement conferences).  My settlement rate exceeds 93% on an annual basis.. I am active in the Missoula community, and have served on numerous local boards, including Little League baseball, Legion Baseball, Grizzly Scholarship Association, Missoula Country Club and others.  I coached youth sports for many years.. It is my belief that clients can often resolve issues in family law by themselves, or with professional guidance.  I work with clients to try and resolve their cases with the best result, with the least amount of expense and strain on the family.

David was born and raised in Deer Lodge, Montana, and graduated from Powell County High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of Montana, where he was an active member of the Davidson Honors College and the University of Montana Advocates. After completing his undergraduate education, David attended law school at the University of Montana. While in law school, David worked as a Junior Partner in the law school’s Law Firm Program, participated in the law school’s Mediation Clinic, and interned at Worden Thane, P.C. Upon graduation, David began practicing in Missoula.. David is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts of Montana, and volunteers for the Community Dispute Resolution Center of Missoula and the Missoula Family Law Self Help Center. He specializes in Estate Planning, Divorce and Family Law Matters, and Mediation, and practices all areas of civil law.
