Torrance was born in Spokane, and raised in Spokane, Washington and Punta Gorda, Florida, graduating from Charlotte High School in 1995. Torrance earned a Bachelor’s Degree in History at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia in 1998. Torrance attended the University of Montana Law School beginning in 2001, and graduating in 2004.
