Lance is a 1999 graduate of the Gonzaga School of Law and is licensed to practice in Montana State, Federal and Municipal Courts. He is a Montana trial lawyer specializing in criminal defense and plaintiff's litigation. He has tried several major cases. Lance has received acquittals in cases of deliberate homicide, assault with a weapon, and drug cases, to name a few, but oftentimes his litigation skills have led to dismissals or plea agreements to lesser charges in trial level cases. He has handled multiple deliberate homicide cases and has been recognized by his peers for his tenaciousness as a litigator and his effectiveness in justified use of force and bullying cases. He has also won significant civil verdicts and settlements against corporations such as UPS, FedEx and insurance companies, as well as cities, municipal parties, police departments. He has settled numerous cases against multimillion dollar corporations and insurance companies, as well as cities and municipalities.. Although he handles a variety of criminal and civil cases, Lance has a passion for defending the underdog and protecting the injured.
