More than 30 years ago, he began his law career serving with the Florida Attorney General in Tallahassee, Fla. In 1989, he returned to his hometown of Mobile, Ala. to begin practicing law with an insurance defense firm. Since 1995, Desi’s practice has focused exclusively on the representation of injured victims. During his career, he has tried more than 100 civil bench and jury trials.. A graduate of McGill-Toolen High School, Desi attended Washington and Lee University prior to The University of Alabama. I grew up on Sand Mountain, in North Alabama.  After college, I attended Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, where I graduated cum laude in 1989.  Since then, I have practiced 100% plaintiff work, and have represented literally thousands of individuals over the Southeastern United States.. I am licensed to practice law in both Alabama and Mississippi, and primarly specialize in representing individuals who are injured or families who have lost a loved one in motor vehicle accidents, trucking accidents, nursing home and hospital abuse cases, product liabilty cases, on-the-job accidents, and slip and fall cases.  Over the years I have tried over 90 jury cases to verdicts, and am proud to say that I have only lost 5 cases over the past 28 years.  Because insurance companies and their attorneys know that we are successful at trial, most of my cases are settled prior to trial for maximum compensation..
