More than 30 years ago, he began his law career serving with the Florida Attorney General in Tallahassee, Fla. In 1989, he returned to his hometown of Mobile, Ala. to begin practicing law with an insurance defense firm. Since 1995, Desi’s practice has focused exclusively on the representation of injured victims. During his career, he has tried more than 100 civil bench and jury trials.. A graduate of McGill-Toolen High School, Desi attended Washington and Lee University prior to The University of Alabama. He has served on the McGill-Toolen Catholic High School Advisory Board and the St. Mary School Advisory Board.. Desi was formerly on the Board of Directors of the Alabama Association for Justice and currently is on the Executive Committee of the Mobile Bar Association. He is the current chairman of the Mobile Bar Association Civil Practice Committee for State and County courts.
