Tim was licensed as an attorney in 1990. He has been practicing almost exclusively as a family law attorney for most of this time. Mr. Kant, a native Texan from Houston, has lived in Austin with his family for the past thirteen years.  After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Saint Edward’s University, Mr. Kant was offered a merit-based scholarship for his exceptional academic performance to study at the University of Texas School of Law.  While earning his J.D., Mr. Kant honed his skills outside of the classroom through internships with the Travis County District Attorney’s Office and the Travis County Juvenile Public Defender.  There he gained the respect and recommendations of his supervisors and clients.. Fighting for the best interests’ of children and their families has been a hallmark of Mr. Kant’s professional career.  The highly personal intersection between family and the law when dealing with issues like divorce and child custody makes the assistance of a trusted, objective advisor essential.  With confidence and experience, Mr. Kant guides his client’s through this very difficult and taxing time, while protecting their most valued interests.. Kellee is a trial lawyer who focuses her practice on civil litigation with an emphasis on family law and equine/agricultural law.   Kellee also handles estate planning and business entity development.. Kellee attended Oklahoma City University School of Law where she received her Juris Doctor in 2009.  During her time at OKCU Law, she was a member of the AAJ Trial Team and ABA Mediation Team, as well as being selected into the Order of Barristers.. Prior to attending law school, Kellee earned her Bachelors of Science in Animal Science with an Equine Industry Option in 2004, and her Masters of Science in Family Youth and Community Sciences with a focus in Youth Development and Adolescent Problematic Behaviors in 2006, from the University of Florida.
