Michael quickly took advantage of the insurance program with the idea that he would learn everything he could in order to use that knowledge against large insurance corporations.. After receiving his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus on risk management and insurance, Michael knew the next step was law school. Throughout his three years in law school, Michael served as the associate managing editor of the Charleston Law Review, the president of the Trial Advocacy Board and was champion of the Charleston School of Law’s Mock Trial Competition.. Before opening Cobb, Dill & Hammett, LLC, Michael worked for a small, boutique firm in Moncks Corner where he handled the firm’s entire personal injury caseload, giving him invaluable experience in that area of law practice..
