I joined Raybin & Weissman in August 2009 as a receptionist while I was in my first year of law school at Nashville School of Law. Within a year of joining the firm, I became the legal assistant for David Weissman – a position I held until I graduated law school in 2013. After passing the bar, I was hired as an associate for the firm where I focus on personal injury law and domestic law.. I am originally from Memphis and I graduated from Rhodes College in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. While at Rhodes, I was a student-athlete as well as a student-trainer. I hold several records in basketball and had an opportunity to play basketball overseas in Iceland after graduating college. However, I turned down this opportunity to pursue my dream of becoming an attorney.. Outside of the office, I love cheering on the Green Bay Packers, watching sports and  playing anything sports related.

I have practiced Personal Injury Law in Tennessee for the last 17 years. During that time, I have worked over 10,000 car accident cases and reached resolutions by settlements, bench verdicts, and jury verdicts. I have been providing excellent representation to clients in state and federal courts since moving to Nashville more than 18 years ago.  After completing law school at Duke University in 1999, I joined the Office of the Public Defender, where I advocated for clients from General Sessions Courts to the Tennessee Supreme Court, earning numerous verdicts of not guilty.  From 2004-2010, I served as an Assistant Federal Public Defender in the Middle District, earning numerous dismissals and verdicts of not guilty in federal court.  In 2010, I entered private practice as a partner at Jones Hawkins & Farmer, PLC, where it was my privilege to work with some of the finest lawyers in the country.  I began my own law practice in downtown Nashville in 2015, where I continue to fight hard for my clients, in cases ranging from misdemeanors to the most serious felony cases and investigations.

I have been practicing law in the Nashville area since 2004. While enrolled in law school, I worked as a law clerk for the Honorable James F. Russell of the Shelby County Circuit Court. I was Vice President of the Student Bar Association and Vice Magistrate of Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity at the University of Memphis. In 2004, I was awarded the Smith’s Distinguished Service Award and the CALI Award (highest grade) in Alternative Dispute Resolution/Mediation. I am a member of Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society. I have spoken at continuing legal education seminars discussing advanced issues in workers' compensation. One of my proudest achievements is being a founding board member of the non-profit corporation, Round Up for Nolensville, Inc., which assists those in need in the Nolensville area.

I have been practicing law for 15 years after my former life as a police officer. Outside the practice of law,  am an avid SCUBA diver, love to fly fish, camp and cook. I love all sports football team is the Titans, Baseball team life long Red Sox fan.

I have been practicing employment litigation defense (exclusively on the company/ management side) for 17 years now with the same firm (Constangy)- which seems crazy.  Over those many years, I’ve learned employment law creates a strange world, and partly because of that, I can’t imagine doing anything else.  I'm not one for touting all the credentials that almost every other employment-defense attorney out there probably also has, but I guess just for the record, I should verify that yes, yes, I’ve handled a zillion (give or take) employment litigation cases, including class/ collective actions, I’ve taken tons of depositions, have taken about 10 cases through trial, and have argued some on appeal, too.In terms of me, personally, I grew up in rural Arkansas, lived/ traveled in various spots in the U.S. during college/ law school, and finally settled in Nashville when I came to Constangy 17 years ago as a "baby attorney."  I am now married to a Missions Pastor and a mother of 3 -- two boys and a little girl we adopted from Ethiopia in 2011.  I am passionate about adoption and am always happy to talk to people who might be interested in going down this path!. I grew up in Nashville, attending Eakin Elementary, Caldwell Middle, and Hillsboro High Schools. In my life, I have been a stepchild and a stepfather; I endured a divorce, and have children of my own. While at Hillsboro I received the Ed Hessey award (ask me). After spending five great years in college during the Payton Manning years, I graduated from U.T. (Knoxville) in 1997, and went to work in Nashville and Charleston, South Carolina for the trucking division of the world’s largest international shipping and logistics company. After three years in the real world, I went back to school, and received my law degree in 2003 from the University of South Carolina. While there I clerked for a local law firm and worked on the student staff of the ABA Real Property, Probate, and Trust Journal. I was on the Dean's List and found time to enjoy USC.. After graduation, I spent time working in a law firm and as an Assistant Public Defender before settling into my private, solo, practice in 2007. My focus is family and domestic law. I am currently admitted to practice in South Carolina (inactive status) and Tennessee.

I grew up in Dothan, Alabama and graduated from Auburn University in 1985.  I have lived in Nashville since 1986 and I love it!  I love to travel, even if it is just to the beach for a long weekend.  I like being outdoors and love to take long walks with my labradoodle, Stella, for exercise.  I am married to attorney Phillip Miller and we share office space in a beautiful Victorian house on Woodland Street in Nashville...very convenient to the Courthouse, and free parking!  My favorite thing about practicing family law is that I get to help people work through very difficult situations, and I am result-oriented...If you are in the process of a divorce or are considering a divorce, I urge you to focus on the solution instead of the problem...and hire a lawyer who will do the same!

I grew up all over Central Arkansas but now call Nashville my home. I was raised in a single-parent household that struggled to make ends meet. My mother worked two jobs and did her best, but our family (like many others) fell prey to the extreme difficulties of poverty. I know the battle that lower income households face every single day, and witnessed firsthand how poverty coupled with addiction can tear families apart.. Because of my childhood experiences, I knew from an early age that I wanted to escape the system holding my family down. I had a strong desire to serve my community and felt a need to help others. So, at the age of seventeen, I enlisted in the military and continue to serve to this day. During my first enlistment, I was deployed to Baghdad, Iraq, as a Combat Medic, and it was in this capacity that I truly learned how to work under extreme pressure. Continuing my career in the military has allowed me the opportunity to gain exceptional leadership experience, discipline, and the resiliency needed to be successful in life.. After Iraq, I wanted to get back to a “normal” life and focus on going back to school. In December of 2011, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Sociology, with an emphasis in Criminology, and a minor in Addiction Studies. From there, I worked in social services with the Arkansas Dept. of Human Services. After three years of grueling work, I felt unfulfilled and knew that I could be doing more. It was at that point I decided to apply for law school.. I have been practicing law since 2018 and, prior to opening my firm, I was a Deputy Prosecutor in Garland County. As a prosecutor, I handled felony and misdemeanor cases involving a variety of charges such as drugs (possession, paraphernalia, intent to deliver, etc.), DWI/BWI, theft of property, and violent crimes—just to name a few. I left the prosecutor’s office because I realized I had a greater calling to help families in my local area and assist those accused of crimes, not prosecute them.. My greatest calling in life, however, is being a mother and spouse. My family is my bedrock and the foundation that supports all that I do. I am truly blessed beyond measure.

I began my official legal career as staff counsel for one of the largest insurance companies in the country. In this role I furthered my litigation experience including handling first-chair jury trials.. I joined Groth, Makarenko, Kaiser & Eidex in May of 2023 as Of Counsel spearheading the firm’s expansion to Nashville, Tennessee. In 2024, I became a Partner at the firm. I am admitted to practice before all state courts in Georgia and Tennessee, the Georgia Court of Appeals, as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern District of Georgia, the United States District Courts for the Middle District of Tennessee and the 6th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals.. I am the second of five children.  I am the mother of a magnificent daughter named Brooklyn. I was born and raised in Nashville, TN.  My passion is to assist in remedying the injustices in justice system one client at a time

I am passionate about bringing due process to students accused of sexual assault and ending the biased manner in which these situations are handled in universities at the present time. I am a volunteer spokesperson for SAVE SERVICES, a non-partisan organization that seeks to restore due process to the campus judicial system, both politically and practically through training and education. Most of my clients are males falsely accused of sexual assault or other students who have been disciplined unfairly by their school or univerisity. I am a former social worker, with a masters degree and license in that field. I use my social work degree, my expereience working in  high school as a sex education teacher and my legal experience to professionally assist students accused under Title IX.. I live in Nashville with my husband of 25 years, two children and many pets. In my free time, I paint, read and travel.
