Matt grew up in the Fox Valley/Green Bay areas. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from South Texas College of Law while also receiving the Transactional Law Practice Certificate. During his college career, Matt had a wide variety of internships, all with a common aspect – research and writing. These opportunities have helped to develop his transactional legal skills. Prior to joining Remley & Sensenbrenner, he worked for a firm specializing in estate and tax planning for high income wealth individuals. He is coauthor of, “Tax Planning Opportunities After the American Taxpayer Relief Act: Tools, Tips, and Tactics.” He continues to develop his practice with an emphasis in Estate Planning and Tax.. Matt currently resides in Menasha. In his free time he enjoys playing guitar, hunting, fishing, and camping.

Jim was born and raised in Janesville, Wisconsin. During law school, he clerked for the IRS researching areas of the federal income tax laws. Jim spent several years working for Ernst & Young in Milwaukee as a tax manager before relocating to the Fox Valley to join Remley & Sensenbrenner in 1991. His primary practice focuses in business/corporate, tax, estate planning, and real estate.. Jim and his wife, Deb, live in Neenah and have two children. Most of Jim’s hobbies involve outdoor activities, such as fishing, hunting, and downhill skiing.
