My commitment is to treat every client with compassion and respect; to be a good listener, and to work as hard as I can to achieve the best possible outcome for my clients. I learned good old fashioned values growing up in a small town in Granville County, NC, and I strive to be a person of integrity with a character for being honest and hard working. By way of background, I graduated from South Granville High School and attended NC State University followed by East Carolina, where I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. I attended law school at Campbell University and was commissioned as a JAG officer with the U.S. Navy Reserve. I attended Officer's Indoctrination School in Newport, Rhode Island, followed by Naval Justice School after receiving my Jurisdoctorate in 1991. After graduating from Naval Justice School, I boarded the guided Missile Cruiser USS Chosin in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. I was then stationed at Naval Legal Service Office Yokosuka, Japan for three years where I served as a defense attorney and provided legal assistance. In 1994 I joined the distinguished trial lawyer Mr. Norman Kellum as a personal injury attorney with the Kellum Law Firm where I have practiced ever since. Our personal injury practice covers the entire east coast including the triangle and its surrounding areas. It has been and will continue to be my pleasure to serve the injured and fight for the compensation they need and deserve! WE'RE WITH YOU ALL THE WAY!

I grew up in Pensacola, Florida and graduated college from Florida State University. I worked as a paralegal in Florida, Georgia and Washington State prior to entering law school. One of the most fulfilling experiences I have had was attending Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusettes. After graduation in 2004, I was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar and begain handling real estate transactions, creating wills and other documents for client's estate plans, and administering the estates of deceased loved ones. I have worked in small firms and large firms to include Stubbs Perdue and White & Allen but now enjoy the flexibility and satisfaction of operating Forrest Family Law. This career choice affords me the ability to focus on each client's individual needs. I dedicate my entire practice to helping clients find the right solutions to their family law matters.
