Pam Michiels serves as counsel to the firm in the Insurance and Reinsurance practice group. For more than twenty years, her practice has been devoted exclusively to counseling insurers. She advises both overseas and domestic insurance clients in complex coverage disputes involving a wide variety of issues concerning professional liability/errors and omissions, general liability, umbrella/excess, first-party and energy policies. Her experience extends to a myriad of coverage issues, including those arising out of exposures such as errors and omissions of architects, engineers, insurance professionals, and lawyers; environmental and toxic tort; intellectual property; employment; marine/energy; and extra-contractual liability. She serves as regional coverage counsel for a number of insurers. Pablo Gonzalez practices in the area of insurance and reinsurance. He represents clients in insurance coverage litigation including both first-party and third-party coverage disputes. He has been involved in litigation in both state and federal courts arising out of first-party insurance claims including claims for property damage, business interruption, loss of rental income, and additional living expenses arising out of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita as well as fires and other causes of loss.
