John Robb has been actively practicing law since 1978 when he joined his father as a third generation lawyer in Newton.  John's practice is concentrated in estate planning, including wills, trusts, estate tax and probate and he also handles many business-related matters in the legal arena for clients. An active school attorney, John has distinguished himself in the area of school finance litigation and negotiations as well as day-to-day advice for school administrators and Boards.. Always active, John has served as President or Chairman of the Newton Area Chamber of Commerce, the Harvey County Jobs Development Council, The Greater Newton Foundation, the Newton Jaycees, the Kansas Jaycee Cerebral Palsy Foundation, Northview Developmental Services, Inc., the Harvey County Bar Association and Harvey County Ducks Unlimited.  He's also been active on the Boards of Mirror, Inc. a comprehensive alcohol, drug and corrections entity, the Florence Bessmer Foundation, which financially supports the Newton Public Library, Bank IV Newton, and Harvey County United Way.   His other affiliations include The Harvey County, Wichita and Kansas Bar Associations, the Kansas School Attorneys Association, the National Council of School Attorneys, the Ninth Judicial District Nominating Commission, Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi Business Honorary and Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity.  He's also been active in a number of local office political campaigns.. Being named an Outstanding Young Kansan, receiving the Newton Jaycee Distinguished Service Award, the Ducks Unlimited Conservation award and being named Newton Kansan Newsmaker of the Year are all honors John has received.  In 2003 John was named Newton’s Outstanding Citizen of the Year by The Newton Area Chamber of Commerce.  John was named one of Wichita's "10 to Watch" by the Wichita Eagle for 2010 in regards to his school finance litigation efforts.. After graduating from Washburn Law School with honors, the return to Newton was natural for John and his wife Karen who is also a Newton native.

Hindell Straus Grossman formed her own firm, Grossman & Associates, Ltd. in Newton, Massachusetts following her partnership in a Boston firm for 10 years.   She has experience in Probate, District and Superior courts and  has successfully negotiated, litigated and arbitrated for clients.  Several of her successes have been published in Massachusetts Lawyer’s Weekly and she has been featured in the Needham Tab, Boston Business Journal and the Boston Globe. Hindell has been a licensed attorney in Massachusetts since 1985.   The firm's Second Opinion Program allows those uncertain about their legal options approach to consult us and make more informed decisions.     Hindell has been active in both the business and Jewish communities.  She participated in the first international collaboration between the Boston Chamber of Commerce and the Montreal Board of Trade.  She was a regular speaker for the Canadian Consulate to Canadian business owners interested in doing business in Massachusetts; a lecturer for National Business Institute, Inc.; a panelist for the Small Business Administration; a speaker on business banking; and a panelist for the Boston Bar Association.. For many years Hindell has been co-President of B’nai B’rith Realty Unit, whose members include New England’s most distinguished real estate men and women.  She is a long-standing board member of Covenant House in Brighton, Massachusetts which provides affordable senior citizen housing.  Hindell is also a fundraiser, a donor to various causes and a Hospitality Host to families needing medical treatment. Hindell was raised in Rumson, New Jersey by parents in the retail clothing business. She attended Muhlenberg College and the University of Pennsylvania, and obtained her Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School in Chicago in 1985.   Hindell lived in Newton for 14 years and presently lives in Brookline.   Her daughter, Ariel, graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2010 with a degree in Finance and is employed at Massachusetts General Hospital and enrolled in a Health Care MBA program at Boston University.  Her son, Micah, attends Loyola University in New Orleans where he studies Music Industry.

I am originally from Princeton, Minnesota.  After graduating from the University of Minnesota - Morris, I moved to Boston in 2010 to attend New England Law | Boston.  After graduating in 2013, I passed the Massachusetts Bar Exam and began work in a small biotech start-up in Cambridge, MA.. After a few years there I realized that my true calling was to devote my time and energy to helping people attain their dreams of owning the right home, whether that's their first home, an upgrade, a downgrade, or even refinancing to live more comfortably in the home that they love.. My practice primarily involves residential and commercial real estate transactions.  I have experience in buyer and seller representation and in the representation of financial/lending institutions.. I seek to network with buyers and sellers of real estate, mortgage brokers, bank representatives, real estate agents and real estate brokers located in the Greater Boston Area, North Shore, South Shore and Metro West. Though my main office is located in Newton, MA, often times you'll find me on the road in any given part of the state in order to better serve my clients and contacts.
