Tom founded Shane & Associates to provide entrepreneurs legal counsel that understands the needs of growing businesses. After graduating from Boston College, cum laude, Tom obtained his JD from Suffolk Law School and his MBA from Babson College. Tom founded Shane & Paolillo in 1988, at its peak a firm of 46 attorneys on both coasts, in which Tom specialized in litigation & corporate law.  Tom began his business career as one of the founders of Faded Glory, the company that introduced the concept of pre-washed high “fashion” jeans to the world. He was instrumental in both the establishment and management of the company. Tom was the co-founder, vice chairman and general counsel for Leading Edge Products, Inc., a pioneer in computer manufacturing that popularized the IBM clone strategy and which set the trend for the growth of the computer industry.  Tom has founded, operated and sold multiple companies including Wig Flair, acquired by US Industries (billion dollar public conglomerate), Faded Glory, acquired by a Hong Kong private equity group, Pioneer IBM clone marketer, (buyer NDA) and Shane and Paolillo, acquired by separate law firms in two of the three major cities it had offices. My practice focus is on Probate matters and representing individuals and families on Estate and Healthcare planning issues.. My goal is to provide competent advice and solutions to difficult problems in a personal, caring and expedient way. I provide advice and counsel for all generations with a focus on the Elderly, but understanding that any generation can benefit from advance legal planning.. First and foremost, I strive to prevent problems by encouraging effective planning. My passion to help people less fortunate than myself initially led me to law school.  Upon graduating from Penn, I went to work for the Legal Aid Society in Brooklyn, New York in the Criminal Defense Division.  I worked there for a number of years, until my husband's job required us to move.  I continued to work as a public defender for many years, in many states, and helped an innumerable number of clients with their criminal and family law cases.  Ultimately, when i had my second child, I left public interest law, and went into private practice.  I have been in private practice since 2002, and i continue to take on pro bono cases so that i can help those less fortunate.. When i am not practicing law, you can find me volunteering in my children's elementary, middle and high school, on the tennis court, or out running the streets of Newton and Boston.

Matthew J. Fogelman is a founding partner of Fogelman & Fogelman LLC. Mr. Fogelman’s trial and litigation practice is focused on employment law, personal injury cases, and consumer class actions. I enjoy estate planning because of the satisfaction that comes from seeing clients achieve the peace of mind that comes from resolving their unique concerns about their families and others they care about with thoughtful, creative solutions.. Personally, I like to spend my personal time writing, singing and playing music about the cycle of life, love and humorous experiences.  I used to perform in plays in musicals, but found that the personal commitment required to a production doesn't fit well with an active law practice.

Hindell was raised in Rumson, New Jersey by parents in the retail clothing business. She attended Muhlenberg College and the University of Pennsylvania, and obtained her Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School in Chicago in 1985.   Hindell lived in Newton for 14 years and presently lives in Brookline.   Her daughter, Ariel, graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2010 with a degree in Finance and is employed at Massachusetts General Hospital and enrolled in a Health Care MBA program at Boston University.  Her son, Micah, attends Loyola University in New Orleans where he studies Music Industry.

I am originally from Princeton, Minnesota.  After graduating from the University of Minnesota - Morris, I moved to Boston in 2010 to attend New England Law | Boston.  After graduating in 2013, I passed the Massachusetts Bar Exam and began work in a small biotech start-up in Cambridge, MA.. After a few years there I realized that my true calling was to devote my time and energy to helping people attain their dreams of owning the right home, whether that's their first home, an upgrade, a downgrade, or even refinancing to live more comfortably in the home that they love..
