I was raised in small town in the Kansas City area. In high school I played tennis (poorly) and debated. I worked my way through college with a variety of odd jobs: waiter, janitor, and forklift driver. I became an attorney because I felt my employer was mistreating the employees; I wanted to help others like me. I dedicated my time in law school to public service and that is where I focus my career.. In my spare time I enjoy martial arts, shooting sports, hiking, hunting, and reading. I used to be an avid jogger, but a hip injury put an end to that.

Michael Harrison in the Ingham County Circuit Court. During the year after graduation I was the law clerk to the Hon. James Fleming in the Jackson County (Michigan) Circuit Court.. After working in small general practice firm, I returned home to the Kansas City Area in 1993. I have been practicing law in the Kansas City Area since.
