Sam’s experience in a large firm has exposed him to and allowed him to focus on to complex estate and business planning opportunities. Sam’s experience with a small firm taught him how to meet the client’s needs in the most efficient manner possible. His experience in these two firms enables Sam to serve his clients at the highest level while staying grounded enough to provide the services the client actually needs.. The client experience with Dotzler Law focuses on the fact that the client’s needs drive the relationship, not the attorney’s. We want to get to know you and what you are really trying to accomplish. Then we can build on that to identify your legal needs and wants. Then we can work with you to put a plan in place that takes care of all of those things, a plan that takes care of you.. Prior to founding Dotzler Las, as a member of the Trusts and Estates Practice at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, Sam focused on estate, tax and business planning for clients of significant wealth, including the structuring of tax-advantageous solutions for transferring wealth and closely-held business interests to younger generations. Mr. Dotzler advised clients with regard to gift, estate and generation-skipping transfer tax planning, succession planning, leveraged wealth transfer techniques, charitable planning, trust and probate administration and the integration of estate plans and corporate structures.. Prior to joining Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, Mr. Dotzler practiced law at Hoogendoorn & Talbot LLP focusing on Probate, Trusts and Estates. ROBERT E. PAARZ, Esq., was certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Civil Trial Attorney in 1983, and was re-certified in 1991, 1998, and 2005. In 2010, Mr. Paarz was one of only two lawyers in the entire state of New Jersey to be admitted into the American College of Trial Lawyers, a prestigious national organization into which leading attorneys in the U.S. are admitted by invitation only.. Based on selection by polling other attorneys, Mr. Paarz has consistently been named a "Super Lawyer" in Plaintiff's Medical Malpractice by New Jersey magazine. He is also listed in Best Lawyers, the oldest peer review publication of the legal profession, under the specialty of Medical Malpractice. Best Lawyers compiles lists of outstanding attorneys by conducting peer review surveys in which thousands of leading lawyers confidentially evaluate their professional is rated "AV" by Martindale Hubbell, the highest available rating for legal ability and ethical standards.. Mr. Paarz was formerly a highly successful medical malpractice defense attorney. Between 1976 and 2001, he tried over 250 medical malpractice cases to a verdict, many involving catastrophic injury and death. Mr. Paarz also personally argued more than 10 cases in front of the New Jersey Supreme Court, several of which shaped the law in medical malpractice in New Jersey.. Mr. Paarz decided to end his representation of defendants in medical malpractice cases in 2001. "I had a change of heart in midcareer. I love to try cases and it was very satisfying to exonerate a physician I felt did nothing wrong. But a defense attorney typically must defend whatever cases a malpractice insurance company assigns, and I grew tired of having to defend medical care I personally didn't believe in." Instead, he chose to begin representing patients. "The nice part about plaintiff's work, besides the satisfaction of advocating for a patient's right to quality health care, is that we choose which cases we pursue and will only litigate cases we believe in.". In his very first trial as a plaintiff's attorney in a medical malpractice case, Mr. Paarz obtained a jury verdict in excess of 4 million dollars. Mr. Paarz graduated cum laude (with honors) from both the Georgia Institute of Technology (Bachelor of Science) and Rutgers University School of Law (Juris Doctor).

My practice centers on serving clients and their individual needs as they progress through life. This includes helping people with juvenile and child custody and support, divorce, purchasing real estate, planning for retirement, and wealth transfer. My goal is to help people solve problems at a reasonable cost.. Being a small town lawyer means educating, counseling, and litigating on the law’s purpose, applying it to people’s lives, settling disputes, and when necessary seeking justice through the courts.. I have continued to find that people want their lawyer to treat them as a person, not just a client. Whether you are charged with a crime, find yourself in a divorce, or are trying to help your parents manage their affairs, you need a lawyer who you can trust to not only know the law but who can apply the law to your individual situation.. My commitment to serving and helping others extends to community affairs, including the following: active member of the St. Dominic’s Church (member and trustee); the Northfield Lions; and the Northfield Area Chamber of Commerce; Past-president of the Northfield Arts Guild and the Northfield Area Chamber of Commerce; and a Board Member for both the Girl Scouts and Historical Society.. As an advocate for employers and employees, I have a unique perspective in understanding the positions of all parties. I believe in providing personal service to clients efficiently and economically, and working to resolve legal workplace issues so that clients can focus on their work.
I have been an attorney since 1992, primarily practicing in the Southern New Jersey area of Atlantic and Cape May Counties, although I have appeared in courts throughout the State. My primary concentration is in family law, which encompasses divorce, separation, alimony, child custody and child support. I have run the The Law Office of Julie Davis Lisa since 2004. Prior to starting my own business, I was an associate attorney at Cooper, Levenson, April, Niedelman and Wagenheim in Atlantic City for several years and an associate attorney at Tomar, Simonoff, Adourian and O'Brien in Northfield, New Jersey, also for severalyears. I received my mediation training through the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators and Community Mediation Services of Atlantic County.
