I was born in Oakland, California. I graduated from U.C. Berkeley in 1997, and U.C. Hastings College of the Law in 2003. I've been practicing law since that time. In 2009, I opened my own office to focus on criminal defense. I'm a member of the Alameda County Bar Association's Criminal Court Appointed Attorneys' defense panel, and California Attorneys for Criminal Justice. I was born in Boston and grew up in Massachusetts.  I attended college at Brandeis University, double majoring and graduating with departmental honors.  I then attended Tulane University School of Law where I was the managing editor for the Tulane Environmental Law Journal and an honors graduate of the trial advocacy program.. I then moved to northern California, where I have lived and practiced law since 1992.  I have been in practice for myself for twenty-five years, but I work closely with several other experienced and exceptional trial attorneys.  I handle every case and communicate with every client personally.  I am committed to helping every client understand their rights and options, so that my clients can make the best choices for themselves and their families.. I have been practicing in the areas of family law and bankruptcy for 20 years. I handle all aspects of family law and only chapters 7 & 13 bankrupcies along with litigation issues. I have extensive trial experience in the family law area and look forward to getting some in the bankruptcy area.
