Mr. Barrett received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University (BA '93), holds a certificate in International Law from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law ('99) and is a graduate of Whitter Law School (JD '00). During law school Mr. Barrett was an extern Law Clerk to the Hon. James N. Barr, United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California. After graduating from Whitter Law School, Mr. Barrett served as Law Clerk to the Hon. Lee M. Jackwig, United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Iowa. Upon completing this clerkship, Mr. Barrett returned to his home town to open a law office catering to the individual needs of his clients. Having been raised most of his life in Utah, Mr. Barrett understands the unique social, business, and legal community of the State of Utah. Andrew S. Gustafson attended U.C. Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall), where he was a Managing Editor of the Berkeley Journal of Employment and Labor Law. He received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University, majoring in History and minoring in Philosophy. He graduated magna cum laude from BYU. While at BYU, Andrew was the founder and president of the BYU Speech and Debate Club and participated in the BYU Honors Program.. In 1999, Andrew practiced corporate law and litigation as an associate at Gagen McCoy, an Martindale-Hubbell A-rated firm. However, it wasn’t long before he recognized that corporate law was not his passion. So, in 2001, he founded Lincoln Law, a firm focused on providing effective consumer law solutions for those in need.. Andrew has been active in many legal organizations including the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (“NACBA”), National Association of Consumer Attorneys (“NACA”), the ABA section of Business Law and the Utah Bar Bankruptcy Section.  In addition, Andrew is a member of the elite American Consumer Bankruptcy College (“ACBC”) and regularly hosts the American Consumer Bankruptcy College winter meetings. He is currently licensed to practice law in both Utah and California.. In addition to his legal experience, Andrew has has a keen interest in the use of technology to provide legal consumer solutions.  He created both the Debtor Education and Certification Foundation (“DECAF”) and Money Management International consumer education programs.  These programs have provided over 1 million hours of debtor education and credit counseling. He was instrumental in the development of BK Express, and a number of additional consumer law and consumer bankruptcy products.  Andrew created an educational website for loan modification clients, , which was the first of its kind and was jointly funded by Household Bank, Money Management International and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).  Andrew also created the prototype for BKExpress, the number one selling case management program for bankruptcy attorneys and widely used throughout the country..
