I have been licensed as an attorney since September 1995.  I graduated from the University of Alabama in 1995.  I went to work as a criminal prosecutor for a District Attorney's office in Central Alabama.  After a couple of years (and 16 jury trials) I started my own practice.  In 2000, I moved to Florida and began working in the medical malpractice defense and general insurance defense field.. I presently practice in the areas of insurance coverage, SIU, property coverage and liability claims, auto liability and bad faith litigation.

For the past 22 years, I have dedicated my practice to the defense of professionals, including lawyers, real estate agents, appraisers, and title agents in litigation and before licensing authorities.  I am also a Board Certified Appellate Specialist and have handle 100s of appeals in both the state and federal courts.  I am rated AV-Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell and have been recognized as one of Florida’s Legal Elite and Orlando’s Top Lawyers.  I practice in both state and federal trial courts as well as state and federal appellate courts.  I am very active in The Florida Bar having served as President of the Young Lawyers Division of The Florida Bar, on the Board of Governors of The Florida Bar, Chair of the Appellate Court Rules Committee, and am the immediate past Chair of the Statewide Advertising Grievance Committee.
